Forage is a spec project inspired by the Peachtober prompt: ring. I was looking for an uncommon twist on the prompt when I remembered that fairy rings were circles of mushroom. People forage mushrooms as a hobby and I imagined a mushroom hunter's social club where people could stay connected, hunt together, and keep in touch online.

The cool part about foraging is that anyone can do it. This particular foraging app is more like an online store with a message board where people can find community and purchase shirts and other merch to participate in the world wide uncommon hobby of foraging. I really enjoy making merch and shirts are one of my favorite things to design. Drawing mushrooms and hunting for the perfect mushroom aesthetic were very fun parts of bringing the Fairy Ring Foragers project together.
