I had a lot of fun with this Reel, it is my first one. For the past year or so, I usually animate around 5 seconds with an in/out transition. This was a new challenge to make something longer and to try to make the pieces feel less random. I had a lot of fun editing music to help the flow.

In this project, the goal was to create a video based on song lyrics. It was up to me to decide on the font and color theme. I decided to go with a 90's rap vibe with the colors, and chose Brandon Text for the font because it is clear, but not too formal. I deviated from my classmates by creating a few extra beats for the title sequence.
I am happy with the overall outcome of the piece but I know I can still push it to make it better.

This was a fun assignment from School of Motion Animation Bootcamp. It was, by far, my favorite assignment of the class. I'm not always confident in transitions and eye movement and this assignment really helped with that. Learning to direct the eye was a very useful tip and really helped me grow as an animator.

For work I am animating for about 5 seconds, I wanted to see what I could come up with if I had more time to play with. An 80's arcade game was the first thing to pop into my head.
I had a lot of fun with the sound effects and trying to mimic the simple movements and explosions in late 1980's arcade games.

This was one of my first assignments in School of Motion Animation Bootcamp. I had a lot of fun with it. My job was to animate the loading screen, blaster, and ending (the exploding cows were pre-programmed).
This was also the first time I animated a title card. The goal was to have the columns bounce in. I decided that I also wanted to create a short motion to emphasize the dreidel, so I made the top spin.

The best part about animation is being able to share it. The best part about my Fall 2021 animation course, was when I was able to create my own GIFs and animations for my friends and family.

My sister was overseas from May 2020-April 2022, she was so excited when I sent her these around Christmas. There is something extra special about being able to animate something for her.
